We hope that the New Mothers' Support Group is relatively straightforward but here are some frequently asked questions, just in case:

Can I bring my children to NMSG events?

Of course you can. Children are welcome to all our events and we provide a changing station and weighing scales at talks and socials. Talks also have toys to keep little ones amused and our speakers are used to talking over toddlers' noise!

Can I bring my helper to NMSG events?

Sorry but NMSG events are for mothers to network so helpers are not allowed. Also, lots of our events are limited in attendance numbers so it's not fair to allow entry to helpers and turn away other members once we reach capacity.

Can I bring guests to NMSG events?

You may bring grandparents or other relatives who are visiting from overseas on a very occasional basis. We would only charge them the entry to the event, not the membership fee. Please note that we reserve the right to refuse entry to guests at events that are over-subscribed.

How long does NMSG membership last for?

Membership lasts until the end of the month in a year's time. For example, if you join the NMSG at an event on 7th March 2010, your membership will expire on 31st March 2011. We do not offer trial memberships or 6 month memberships or refunds for members who cancel memberships before they expire, purely because we believe that $25 is great value for money.
